Dung Quat economic zone revokes 23 project licenses
The managing board of Dung Quat Economic Zone has revoked the licenses of 23 projects due to the investors’ financial inability to implement the projects, the board said Thursday.

Revoking the licenses is hoped to help prevent financially incompetent investors from creating projects in order to obtain plots of land at the economic zone and later transferring them to other investors for profit.

Additionally, police and the managing board of Dung Quat Economic Zone have discovered that TPC, a joint venture specializing in oil processing facilities, had allowed a subcontractor to install insulators at 17 automatic control centers at the Dung Quat Oil Refinery which were not the type that TPC and PetroVietnam had previously agreed on as per their contract.
