Thanh Nien contributed VND28 million (US$1,700) to the building of the two houses, which are worth a total VND50 million ($3,000).
So far this year, Thanh Nien and Quang Nam’s Vietnam Youth Federation have given nine houses of compassion to needy families in the districts of Phu Ninh, Tien Phuoc, Hiep Duc, Dai Loc and Dong Giang.
Additionally, Thanh Nien is funding 28 other houses of compassion currently under construction in Nui Thanh District, slated to be completed by year-end.
