The organizers said the summer camp aims to help attendees gain a better understanding of the history and culture of the homeland and promote the country’s images to international counterparts.
During the four-day period, young overseas Vietnamese will visit historical sites, including the Cu Chi tunnels outside HCMC, in addition to participating in various activities.
The first summer camp for young overseas Vietnamese was held in 2004.
COVA said about three million overseas Vietnamese currently live in 90 countries and territories around the world.
