South Korean province eyes closer tourism ties with Vietnam
Gangwon Province’s Governor Kim Jin Sun
A photo exhibition and a traditional Korean dance performance were held at a function in Ho Chi Minh City by the South Korean province of Gangwon to strengthen cultural and tourism exchange with Vietnam.

The photographs showcased the natural beauty and tourist attractions of the eastern province’s diverse terrain.

The dance troupe from the Gangwon Traditional Art Company put on an elegant and lively Arirang performance.

Gangwon Province’s Governor Kim Jin Sun said: “The relation-ship between the two sides have constantly been strengthened. I hope we will have more cultural and tourism exchanges in the future.”

Held at the Sheraton Hotel, the event was also attended by the South Korean consul in HCMC, Min Yong Woo.
