Vietnamese embassies celebrate national independence
Vietnam’s past independence struggles and current achievements were highlighted as overseas embassies celebrated the 63rd anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2).

The embassy in Egypt organized a meeting with the Vietnamese community on August 30, during which Ambassador Le Tien Ba called on them to make further practical contributions to national development.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Qatar,Phung The Long, met with local authorities and Vietnamese guest workers in the country at a get-together on August 29.

He affirmed the Party and the State’s consistent desire and determination to expand friendship and cooperation with all countries, including Qatar.

Representatives from a number of Algerian ministries, international organizations, the Algeria-Vietnam Friendship Association and the Vietnamese community, attended a celebration organized by the Vietnamese Embassy on August 30.

Ambassador Vu Van Du thanked the Algerian Government and people for their assistance to Vietnam during the past struggles against foreign aggressors and the current national construction and defense efforts.

Honorary President of the Algeria-Vietnam Friendship Association Hassani Abdelkarim lauded the Vietnamese people’s revolutionary cause pursued under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh, as well as their achievements during the current renewal process.
