Police find Hanoi man selling fake foreign liquor
The Hanoi police Sunday caught a man in Dong Da District selling five bottles of foreign liquor that turned out to be fake.

They said they became suspicious of Hoang Tien Dung because he was selling a scotch whisky at lower than market prices.

They called a distributor to verify and their suspicion was proved right.

Officers then searched Dung’s house and found 30 bottles with labels of other popular brands and materials to make fake liquor.

They also confiscated more than 200 other bottles from his shop in Hang Da Market because he had no documents to prove their origin.

Reported by T.Uyen-Thanh Phong-Minh Ngoc
