Vietnam, China release breeding fish |
| Vietnam’s northern Lang Son Province and the neighboring Chinese province of Guangxi cooperated to release 500,000 fish fry worth VND500 million (US$29,000) into Ky Cung River in Trang Dinh District Monday. |
It was the first time the two provinces have released fish under the “Vietnam and China drink water from the same river and co-protect aquatic resources” program.
The fish release aims to restore the ecological balance in the Ky Cung River, which has been seriously polluted by rapid development of industrial factories and overexploitation.
