“I made some errors at first but they were mainly errors in concentration,” said Nhat, who came back with a whopping eight birdies later.
Nhat’s two-round total of 149 was more than enough to beat runner-up Ian Quek, who scored 76 and 78 to finish five strokes behind in the 36-hole event.
