The South Korean embassy in Hanoi announced yesterday that the tournament, the first of its kind, will be played at the Tam Dao Golf Course on September 2.
South Korean Ambassador Im Hong Jae and business people from both countries are expected to participate in the tournament.
The main organizer of the tournament, Pang Rim Neotex Co. Ltd, a fiber manufacturer in Phu Tho Province, hopes the event will help attract more attention and support from businesses for charitable activities. It has so far raised over US$10,000 for the cause.
