Lewis Hamilton’s McLaren Mercedes car spotlighted in HCMC
The F1 McLaren Mercedes car that helped British racer Lewis Hamilton win second place at the 2007 Formula 1 Grand Prix is currently on display at the Saigon Trade Center in Ho Chi Minh City.
Lewis Hamilton’s McLaren Mercedes car will be on display at the Saigon Trade Center in Ho Chi Minh City today.

Interested fans can come to have their photos taken with the car that has helped Hamilton win big prizes in the Formular 1 Grand Prix.

Visitors can also take part in several activities such as designing logos for the McLaren Mercedes team.

Born in the United Kingdom, Hamilton is the number one racer of the McLaren Mercedes team.

He came second just behind Kimi Raikkonen in last year’s F1 season and is considered to be one of the main challengers for the title this year.

He is the first African Briton to have secured second place in the F1 Grand Prix.

He joined the McLaren Mercedes team last year after winning such European events as the British Formula Renault, European Formula 3 and GP2.

When he was 10 years old, Hamilton had an opportunity to meet Ron Dennis, who was then the leader of the McLaren team.

The encounter with Dennis inspired Hamilton to strive to become a member of the team when he grew up.

Now 12 years after the historic moment of meeting Dennis, Lewis has recorded resounding victories with the McLaren Mercedes team and conquered impressive heights in his nascent career as an F1 racer.

The car that helped Hamilton capture runner-up place in last year’s F1 season has attracted special attention from HCMC residents over the past three days.

The Saigon Trade Center is located at 37 Ton Duc Thang Street in District 1.
