In the table tennis competition, Vietnamese representatives Phung Le Trung and Nguyen Duc Tuan won the bronze medal in the boys’ doubles.
Vu Thi Thu Ha and Vo Ngoc Ngan Thanh will vie for the girls’ doubles gold today.
In related news, Vietnam’s U19 women’s squad defeated Jordan 6-0 to capture second place in its group at the Asian U19 Women’s Football Championship in Malaysia, qualifying them to compete in the World U19 Women Football Championship next year.
