Vinpearl to halt Nha Trang Bay cable car system for maintenance
Vinpearl, the operator of an islet resort in Nha Trang Bay, will suspend its cable car operations to the resort for maintenance ahead of the flood of visitors predicted over the Vietnamese Lunar New Year (Tet).

According to a company statement, the sea-crossing cable cars will temporarily cease operations from January 14-19 to upgrade the system.

Visitors to Nha Trang City will still be able to visit Vinpearl's tourist resort on Tre Islet by using a ferry, canoe or speedboat during the period.

Between 3,000 and 4,000 visitors ride the cable cars each day.
