Hue Festival to offer free wireless service
Anyone attending the Hue Festival, scheduled for June 3-11, will have access to free wireless internet anywhere in the city.

Thua Thien-Hue Telecom Company and French telecom corporation Alcatel Lucent will jointly launch Wimax services throughout the former imperial capital, located in central Vietnam, said local company director Duong Tuan Anh.

Hue will be the first Vietnamese locality to offer Wimax, a technology that transmits wireless services over long distances.

Some 46 Wimax stations will be installed for the event.
