1,000 railway tickets on SMS booking today
The Saigon Railway Station (SRS) will sell another 1,000 tickets via SMS today for passengers to depart on January 17, 2009 (December 22 on the lunar calendar) from HCMC.

Passengers can send messages reading “GASG” to 6305 and each order number given will be entitled to a maximum of four tickets.

The station said about 1,100 passengers made successful SMS transactions Sunday.

However, of the total of 1,000 tickets for sale, only 650 were sold, as people tested out the new system.

For home delivery of the tickets, passengers can dial (08) 3 843 6528.
