North could see snow, south to be cool and wet
The north will be a bit warmer for the next couple of days but probably turn cool again later this week while the south will continue to be cool and receive showers, the weather bureau has forecast.

It will be between 50C and 170C in the northern mountain region and between 110C and 240C in the plains in the next few days.

It will probably fall to 00C in some northern areas from Thursday when the north is set for a period of strong northeastern monsoon activity.

The dry season has begun in the south, but there will still be some showers from a low pressure area that has formed.
